Unsung Heroes of Science in Wolverhampton Exhibition

Tuesday, 8th June – Tuesday, 31st August 2010

Those of you who are a little spaced out may want to come along to a science exhibition at Wolverhampton Archives.

Visitors will be able to see a selection of fascinating archive material illustrating some of the achievements of Wolverhampton–based scientists.

In particular the exhibition will focus on the renowned balloon ascent of Coxwell and Glaisher in 1862, and on prominent late-19th and early 20th century local astronomer Samuel Fellows, FRAS (Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society).
