A writing workshop inspired by London and its people. Places can evoke powerful feelings and trigger important memories. Faces in a crowd intrigue us and fire our imagination. Using documents, images and the local area as starting points, participants will explore their own creative potential with words, using place, time and brief encounters as expressive tools. There will also be readings from famous and lesser known works inspired by this great city. 2008 National Year of Reading. £25; Concessions £15. (includes lunch). 10.00 am - 4.30 pm. Booking required in advance.
