Royal Marines Lecture

The lecture will deal with a brief history of the Royal Marines, a look at where documents are held and what’s entailed with researching Royal Marine Ancestors. It will explain how to interpret the documents, Royal Marine medals, uniforms and the various units that have been a part of Marines over the years since 1660. There will also be a case study of an officer and one other rank. In addition, medals of Marines, books and documents will be available for inspection. With Ken Divall
