We will look at the development of the Industrial Revolution from the 1750’s to the 1920’s. How did it all begin? The woollen and cotton industry, coal mines and developments in transport will be covered. Movement and migration of our ancestors, how they left the land and went to the cities. How Dorset was affected by what was happening in the north and midlands
