Brent Black Music History Photographic Exhibition

The BTWSC Heritage Lottery-funded Brent Black Music History Project DVD and booklet unearthed some of the little known connections the London borough of Brent has with black music. The Project covered 1966 - 2006, featuring artists and music industry personnel, and buildings that have played a role in British black music history. Photographs of some of the people and buildings from the Project are featured in the Brent Black Music History Photographic Exhibition, which is accessible 7 days a week until Nov. 25 2008. Special open days 11am to 8pm on March 27, June 26, Oct. 30 2008 will feature new photographs, local music history talks by Project leader Kwaku, networking, open mic, and performances, plus freestyle.
