Ancestry in the Archives

For anyone new to family history research, the County Council’s Record Office is offering the ideal introduction. ‘Ancestry in the Archives’ is a three hour session for beginners, led by an experienced family history tutor. It shows participants how to go about it, how to make use of the Internet, and what can be found at the Record Office, including a behind the scenes tour. The cost is £10 (advance booking essential) and sessions will be held on Wednesday 4th June at 1.30pm and 5.30pm.
