Full-day course: All you need to know about the Census
2nd of August, 2008
This course will show many of the reasons why you can't find people in the census indexes, from missing pages through to enumeration and transcription errors. It will give plentiful examples of them all and search tips for finding the more elusive. Other topics covered are finding persons who were institutionalised, research in overseas census and a look at pre-1841 censuses.
