Family History Masterclass

By popular demand, the County Record Office is staging a repeat of its ‘Family History Masterclass’. Starting at 10am this is a full day event, aimed at those who have made a start on tracing their family tree, but would like to take their research further, and refine their skills. There are sessions on Latin and old handwriting, web resources, and how to conserve your family documents. Led by Jackie Depelle, an experienced family history tutor, the course includes input from Latin specialist Janet Baker, and Record Office Conservator Stephen Allen. The cost is £25, including a buffet lunch. Places are limited and early booking is advisable.
